Morning sun a new beginning
The daylight peaks through dusty dreams
Shadows of familiar fleeting visions
Fading with the light of dawn
As they leave they take you from my arms
The morning sun, so beautiful yet cruel
Bringing into consciousness the absence of the one I miss
Leave me to my dark dreams
And to the comfort of the night
Where I can seek and find the one I love
For in the light of each new day
the morning sun so cruelly pushes him away
