Separation

I hold you in my heart, I hold you in my dreams
You are far from my arms but always with me
When you leave me as feel as though
I am being torn apart inside
Body from soul
Sun removed from the sky
Stars ripped from the heavens,
And heaven
Severed from the earth
So is it when my love is torn from my arms
My tears fall like rain
But offer little relief from the fire of pain
Burning inside me
I can't keep watching you walk away
Watching time march cruelly by
As days, and weeks and long months fly
While we are separated
Separated from one another's touch
From long sweet kisses
Smiles in the day
Passion at night
From the light that reflects our love,
In one another's eyes
And from the sweet communion
Of our bodies as one
In the love that only we know
I look to the day when you my love
Will come home and never leave again
I do not know how long I can endure this pain
of
Separation
But even as I write, I know I must try
Try not to let the pain over come my heart
As time passes by
For True LOVE Conquers anything ~
even , loneliness, even pain.
For I know the joy of loving you
And I must be strong for you miss me too.
