I often stopped to ponder over my time
Of whom lived right here where I now do
About maybe a thousand years or so ago
And how they'd have adored their planet too
Some places that I have been amazed by
Where once all so deep under the sea
And I feel I'd have a hard time if living
Where these same places they used to be
We are so very worried of natures changes
And wonder what upon earth we can all do
The answer I feel is to all live in peace
While nature does what its done right through
Where we live today will one day not be here
And we will have done our schooling as well
And then gone on to yet a much higher class
Where the school there rings a very different bell
Living one day at a time each day as it comes
Not always feeling we own this planet .. not true
One day in the future as was once long long ago
Someone else will feel that they alone own it too
I stop to think just now and then as I live my life
About how things are changing now days ever so
And I feel as way before and way ahead of us all today
Changes will eventually wipe the world that we now know
God's methods would have to be so far above our comprehension
But in simplicity Jesus told us of whats to be one day
To have faith and trust in God in every way we can
Love each other and love God and give thanks when we pray
I feel these changes have all happened before so many times
But they'd take a thousand years of the life of little me
And I feel they are all happening once again on earth
The smallest signs of this we all can already see
I feel the simplicity of this is so easy to understand
I feel all we have to do in heart body soul and mind
Is to doing our best still to live with love as one
And giving that all we have to give one day at a time.
