For Awhile Longer
His time of age and 23
Grandchildren his would come to be
Of daughters yours and son you brought
Into this world, times now caught up
Illness born of Liver failed
Your need became of Him impaled
Upon the cross who suffered through
Pain unlike upon Earth too
A match sought out would yield nothing
But GOD keeps plans for suffering
For by your seed she would step forth
and offer hers, daughter yours bought
Healing came by His hands there
Upon table where love would bare
A need to see The Surgeon's in
In all who place their trust in Him
Time given and though you ail
A year later your chance will hail
The GOD of Wonders and majesty
To spread His Word and Loves mercy
Be not afraid as you would say
Before His people on that Sunday
For in you is salvation born
The same who teared the veil now torn
Spread His works that raised and bled
Shed tears and offer hope instead
Of letting time that once was yours
Become now His, go reassure
For awhile longer
