Holes In My Heart
So many holes left in my heart
don't understand why they all had to leave
leaving me all alone
carrying the pain of living life
with out them
One by one another hole has appeared in my heart
As someone I love has died
But each hole represents
a special person who
touched my life
who I love and miss everyday.
Sometimes it seems that my heart
Must have nothing but holes
But than I realize that its bigger than that
I may not understand why they all had to leave
But I do know that my life was made better
For having had them in it
For that I am grateful for each and everyone of those holes
One day I will see those I love and miss so much again
And what a day of great joy that will be
