Here's to a special man
Who came into my life
When my world was falling down
He lifted me to my knees
"May I help you please"
He helped me to stand tall
With the greatest gift of all
His friendship
Which is worth more than gold
His advice is staid and true
His poems are so heart felt
That you think they were meant for you
So my special friend, I have no other
Way of thanking you.
And as I walk through your garden of poems
I see magical leaves on each poem's stem
Each leaf reflects the poem
And music comes floating down as if from heaven.
Master of music, gardener of poems
You are indeed a special man
