Exhort to Repent
Return to the Lord our God,
Worshipping Him with all your heart;
While you give honor and laud,
Hold His words never to depart.
Go worship when you are fasting,
While feeling sad and crying;
When mourning is everlasting,
God comforts as tears are drying.
Tear open your hearts not your clothes,
Turn unto Jehovah your God;
For watching the love as it flows,
Once the icy waters have thawed.
God has mercy and compassion,
Patient and ready to forgive;
So you have no repercussion,
For eternal life you can live.
God may decide to change His plan,
With leaving a blessing for you;
Finding yourself a wealthy man,
Tithing a value that is true.
Ring the bell set a time to fast,
Call everyone to worship;
Gathering all of the people,
To once again hear the Gospel.
Then unto the Lord you must say,
Spare all these people from the wrath;
Because they do trust and obey,
So please go through another path.
