Sometimes in one's life with all its heartbreak felt strife
With all that some souls they well in life go through
They'they've a heart breaking pain and every day once again
Feeling it's very agony is what they always in life do
There's a song I'I've heard and within it's single every word
It explains so well of what I'm trying so hard here to say
The song it's called Delta Dawn and it tells of a souls pain
A pain that will be with her for life her every night and day
It's one of the most heart wrenching songs I've ever heard
And one if listening to it's lyrics one can honestly feel
The way another soul can suffer every day in her very life
Thanks to another one who said his love was forever more real
These words are so often spoken and a heart so often it's broken
A lot of the time because those words to him were no big deal
One can almost be reduced to tears listening to it , it's true
To even imagine what the pain every day for her is so painfully real
With all her ongoing trust within her heart right from the start
Still with all her heart and soul she believes him being her destiny
When one soul without thinking can do this to another gentle one
At a point in time promising something that will never ever be
Reducing that gentle loving trusting soul to a life of strife
Not knowing or not caring that from this hell she'll never be free
One almost would wish karma with all it's power in this life
Would visit him in life and with all it's deserving sincerity
Maybe one would rather think he came long ago to his life's end
And she was never no way in life to find out about it or to know
She then giving all of herself her very heart mind and her own soul
And believed all and every word he had told her back then it's so
But never the less the very words I love you can course such a mess
And hurt so ever many who are trying in life to just get all right
When they are giving their all and with another in love how they fall
And more often the case the other was not being sincere upon the night.
