How I remember those dooo waaaa dooo waaa days
And the shanna nang nang days as well
The oom buppa oom buppa times we had
And a lot of in here I dare not ever tell
I sang almost all of Crash Cradock then
And Jonny Mathis way more than a few
All those beautiful last prom songs I sang
Deep in the night a song I loved and knew
I had my own fathers voice and back then
We both loved all those old songs ever so
Standing around our Bluthner piano back then
All singing together as one some high some low
It's something that I miss in this day and age
Those voices oh how we once all would crune
I still can today and in my own very way
Sing all those Irish songs my dad loved in tune
I remember yet still and forget them I never will
All and every word that was with love than sang
So very many old a song forgotten now all along
And what joy and togetherness they always brang
Smoke gets in your eyes and when I fall in love
How I sang with all heart mind and my very soul
I miss them so yet still guess that I always will
All bringing so very beautiful memories back from old .
