HE WONDERED WHY THAT THIS MUST BE
OF GODS CREATIONS ALL WHERE FREE
BUT MAN ON EARTH MUST HAVE HIS WAY
HE HAS NOT CHANGED RIGHT TO THIS DAY
IN DEEPEST THOUGHT EYES CLOSED TO PRAY
WHAT HAVE WE DONE DEAR GOD I SAY
IT'S TOO LATE NOW ALL GONE BY THE WAY
BUT IF COULD HAVE ONLY LET THEM STAY
GOD GAVE US PARADISE SO LONG AGO
WE DID NOT LEAVE IT AS WAS WE KNOW
CHILDREN ARE WE IN SO MANY WAYS
IF WE COULD ONLY GO BACK TO THEM DAYS.
