A fog of sorts, a stumbling block
This writers cramp, pawned mind one's locked
The key somewhere misplaced sought for
Attempt at script behind closed door
What to write, what to say
What's not been read at least today
Bring comfort to another soul
Attention span of theirs take hold
A love letter of silly rhyme
Worthwhile of tears and too their time
A piece of peace they've come to know
This gift we share GOD has bestowed
One of life that left too soon
One of heart that made a room
For them searched for to no avail
A walk alone of how love failed
A part of you with hope won't bore
A readers mind you paged before
You squirm on seat and grasp at straws
Confessing now what keyboard pours
How will this work is what you ask
A work all yours, a challenged task
Just one more you ask of soul
Of mind, a story, of young and old
Here where childish dreams you still hold to
Here they wait to see, reading breakthroughs
Conquer your fears and press your quill
Of cyberspace, of rush and thrills
Appear once more to eyes that cry
When read are you, now write, again now try
