Once upon a time not now
When younger days time would allow
A parents tale of Dragon tails
and Pirate ships upon sea sailed
There in bed with eyes wide open
Layed mesemerized as words theirs spoken
Held breathless the child they loved
Magic then, today thought of
A better time where innocence
Was captured and your common sense
Meant nothing to the young at heart
The child in you playing a part
A Princess or you hero born
A Knight in shining armor sworn
To save Damsel in deep distress
For love the prize was yours priceless
Your steed loyal would carry you
Through forests dark you slashed right through
The Trolls and Ghouls that sought to claim
Your right of passage and rise to fame
Three Bears and Goldie Locks played part
In woods where Seven Dwarfs big hearts
Took in a girl whose beauty slept
Of apple bit and tears they wept
Of White Rabbit and hole fell through
Where angry Queen and heads of few
Would roll when she would scream aloud
As sleepy eyes gave time allowed
These are the days you thumb through now
These thoughts of then today somehow
Came to mind of better times
Just view below of one still mine
