~*I'm an African Violet*~

Ozio Pictures, Images and Photos

Understand must you know
I'm a fallen petal
Which was once flourished
filled all heart with love
And outspread beautiful scent
To all happy souls
Not by my own free will
I turned to be this dry bulb
I was once plumy and promising
When all kind of eyes set on me
They used and abused me
Due to my past gullible time
~~**~~
Understand must you know
I'm a wilted rose
If I appear gloom
Under the bright sunlight
If I don't fret to water
It's because my roots are rotten
~~**~~
Understand must you know
I'm an African Violet
If I don't sprout through spring
And blossom through Summer
It’s because I'm feared
Fear of the known matters
~~**~~
Understand must you know
With time I Shall come out of the shell
I shall break the cycle of fungus
And produce rose petals all over again.

Note from author-- this piece is all about my beloved country Haiti; with the hope someday she will rise like time before.
