I once thought so now long ago it seems
That plants the feel not any at all pain
But over my life of looking deeper still
I learned often to simply think again
I once thought plants never had a brain
Well in our terms they may well not
But they have thinking minds all of their own
I have seen the proof of this being so a lot
Take that vine divine ten feet away from a pole
And watch it daily then so far away from it there
The next thing that you will see is it's destiny
It has leaned and grown and stretched in the air
And reached it's very destination with direct line
Dispite the breezes and the rain sun or snow
If it did not have a mind of it's very own
It would not know which way it was to go
So much more most to think about in life
And lots to learn from plants it is so true
They say they grow with love and care
And better still from a loving word from you.
