Talent
As people we are obsessed with something called quantity
And to this we are so addicted and in the process forget quality
So therefore we spend so much time amassing some possession
Somehow silently engaging our friends and neighbors in a competition
That parable, the one about the talents is certainly a good example
The receiver of the one, never even try to see if it was workable
But got so upset about the quantity he was given
So in that vein never put his creativity in any sort of motion.
Knowing of the others amount he was annoyed with the donor
But did not work his to see the extent of its value or power
So being tardy and of course greedy, he lost that talent
And given to someone with a much better temperament
There are many of us in this world who are blessed with creativity
But to actively show case the important ingredient is money
And so because finance can be a hindrance, and impediment
Thus depriving many; from witnessing a very important event.
This factor of finance too could be responsible
For some inventors getting themselves in a sort of muddle
Singing contract binding them to a corporation or a manufacture
One so binding; that they control; all their productive power
Isn't it a good thing today to see how technology has grown?
How through mobile communication networking has gone full blown
Though some inventors has passed on we all can see
That current technology is now designated the letter “G”
