That Cycle
Their presence or sighting can cause most women to scream
Quite right, it's when they eyes see one of those vermin
But human being should also look hard and understand
That their deeds have also contributed to the growing problem.
In that need and greed all form of development
Mentally calculating the high returns on that investment
But will never think about that sort of dastardly act
That this over time would destroys a species habitat
They no longer like us being blessed with that privilege
Of being able to move around freely, or to hunt and live
So this force them to chart a mainly nocturnal course
To man's dwelling when there will be a food source
But then again human being making so inviting
By the amount of junk, debris that they have accumulating
And so this to them is such a wonderful opportunity
To inhabit; thus providing a place to raise a family.
Then in the darkness, they will most certainly forage
From the generous scraps of food placed in the garbage
Now living in such proximity to and even invade the premises
Those in the home, nun run that risk of contracting leptospirosis.
Rapid multiplication will introduce a process of eradication
As pesticides are introduce effect a control of the infestation
There is apprehension as on now have to monitor pets and children
Thus reducing that chance of either; having any accidental ingestion.
So it is not hard to see the type of cycle; that development it capable
This in itself is creating for all of us here a sort of debacle
