The Summer Rain
The golden meadows quench their thirst,
catching the summer rain.
Birds chirp sweetly at the mists,
and the flower petals reach in vain.
Water evaporates from the hot pavement,
you could see the steam,
as it rains and rains the rivers swell,
and debris blocks the stream.
Summer rains will come and go,
with cascading waters raining down,
and water puddles make their home,
all over the ground.
