Distance of Two Hearts
The silence fills my head with thoughts of you,
as I lay here wondering.
Are you thinking of me too?
I have questions with no answers,
easy solutions are hard to find.
And when you fall asleep every night,
does it bring peace to your mind?
Though many miles between us,
I'll work hard to strengthen ties.
I will hide you forever in my heart,
so our love will never die.
When you awake to the morning sun,
and reach to face the day,
remember that the distance between us,
is not that far away.
