Caffeine dreams
the hour glass of time split across the ocean of screams Once born from angelic dust never to find us no more from Christ's crucible of trust Thrown aside from Man's unholy lust Dare to dream from what's been hidden from us I choose to believe That I can untangle The sweet mysteries of Life If I can just fixate on the cross Look upon something The bright and golden prize Not just a toy from a little boy's joy Soon to be discarded Once the amusements gone But something which will Last till the break of dawn Enlightened beyond all knowing Timeless age wisdom from formidable years A solemnbolistic dream From Grandfather's pipe Brought me here A trance like state That beckons me close to the Garden gate.. Like walking on Snowflakes Floating on clouds of ether That brought me nearer To taste the cake I so eagerly await Once I took a bite And so nearly met my fate For the spirit world is all around us Like stepping through the mirror Journey carefully my young son So as not to undo What I have done..
