Believe
The reads many nearing one million
Most songs of His who seeks the billions
With thought in mind He pencils new
Upon my soul He sought and drew
Mad men some think of Him and I
The TRUTH and one that stands beside
The ANSWER to what ails these days
My place of refuge no longer stray
A tale or two and thousands more
Of sleepless nights upon cold floors
That made my bed and thirst of old
Today not so this story told
In anger mine and yours I'm sure
Are all the facts all wrong not pure
Of Him who sheds His light on thee
The LIGHT that shines eternally
A chance to know and leave behind
The worst of times and words unkind
That dragged the best of you at times
A chance to know His Love sublime
The road rocky and full of trips
Falls beyond and too the slips
Who backslid where you once stood too
Beneath His sky He paints still Blue
No not the Blue of feelings torn
But of all days ahead reborn
In Him, His hand man pierced for you
His walk of pain, Salvation drew
There is no tie but are goodbyes
To yesterday today your sighs
Will be of how you now reborn
Fragrant as Rose, lies tried to scorn
No better place, no better plans
Were made by Him for you well planned
To bring about, accompanied
By CHRIST who came to set you free
