Quiet Musings

A MATTER OF SITUATION

A MATTER OF SITUATION

A free man will yawn and say “Just another day”
A prisoner hopes to be free to stretch one day
A rich man thinks that twenty dollars is no big deal
A poor man welcomes twenty dollars to buy a meal
Be careful as you walk tall
You never know when you will fall
You must deal with all persons with humility
Your fortunes can suddenly change drastically
The proverb “Today for me, tomorrow for you”
Is particularly true
So, help your fellowman when he is down
Tomorrow he may be wearing a crown
Remember our perspectives change according
to whether we are up or down
It is just a matter of situation
