Oh those Australian Snowy Mountain eagles
OH how so very graceful do they fly~
Gliding ever so smoothly so far above
Above the ground ,, against the mountain sky~
With their eyesight ever so accurate
They go slowly about and upon their day~
Away up with in the snowy mountains region
Those most beautiful eagles ,, birds of prey~
They are called the wedged tailed Australian eagle
They've always been among those alps so high~
They are ever so admired for their grace
High up there within clean air and the mountain sky~
Loved and adored by ever so many , unloved by few
This lovely bird of prey with all it's heavenly grace~
So ever proudly how it does it's own thing all the time
So very far within the high snowy mountain space~
I've sat on a rock and watched them for simply hours
This magnificent ever bird within it's day of flight~
It seems almost related to the mountains breezes
How they both work together seems ever so very right~
These birds are so large within their being as they are
And so beautiful as a bird like that could ever be~
The snowy mountains high most loveliest big bird of prey
Just so sublime and so very majestic it is to me~
