 ALONE
Live much of life alone
Animals my companions
Life is simple with them
Basic
Water, food, potty time
A snuggle and a play
They don't write away life.

More alive with other people
Just stay here
Not doing much
Sleep pattern messed up
Should be asleep
In the middle of the night.

Know I could take seclusion
A cell with three squares
Fall into a fantasy amongst despair
Write poems to myself
Made
Then forgotten in my mind.

Have to love yourself
Difficult, so difficult lately
With much change in life
Kind have laid down to die
While better thoughts come
In the rest of pure laziness.

Animals don't require much...
...Neither do I in the
Silence of the
Minutes between the
Chimes of my clocks.
