I am still haunted
By those kisses.
Its days later
And even though
My eyes were
Closed
Your kisses
Are forever burned
Into my retinas.
You saw me.
You told me
I was beautiful
Even though
The world was
Pining for your
Affections,
You gave me
Yours.
It wasn't just
To play with me,
And that
Is why I can
Still feel not just
The first kiss
But the fourth…
Will they
Only remain
A pleasant memory
To haunt me
Or will they
Be the promise
Of more?
The answer
Will hang like
Your ghost
Ethereal before
Me…
