Little girl, they say
Life ain't that easy as you see
Little girl your not grown enough;
Don't try to be the woman your yet to be
But little girl has seen
More than you as old has ever seen
This little girls' friend has always been pain
Her favorite game has always been fear
And always the taste of loneliness;
in her favorite cookie of shame.
Little girl already met death
And hurted through her every breath
Losing the only person who ever accepted her
Accepted for who she is
Little girl knows a Christmas where darkness sings
Where presents don't exist,
Because happiness is not in them
Little girl thought her self how to be strong;
How to be strong, and how to swim ,
When she was drowning on her own tears
Little girl prays every night
Hoping to one day see the light
Or just one shinning star in her dark nights
Little girl hasn't lost her faith
Tho' this little girl already met heart brakes
She still believes that there is light in the darkness
And that there is a God beyond our skies
So is she still a little girl??
Is she still not grown enough??
