Carbon Copies
Carbon copies all the same,
Printed up without a name.
Printed up without a name.
Never to be seen as one,
Bearing burdens by the ton.
Bearing burdens by the ton.
Poor child never smile wait awhile.
Grown ups act just like a fool,
Forget about the golden rule.
They forget about the golden rule.
Treat all others evil mean,
This is all the children seen.
This is all the children seen.
Don't these foolish parents see,
All the things they cause to be.
Don't they know just what they do,
Making heartaches to live thru.
Children grow and they must live,
They must learn to love and give.
They must learn to love and give.
But when their faith in adults burn,
They don't know which way to turn.
They don't know which way to turn.
Poor child never smile wait awhile
Bend and bow hearts too tile to wait awhile
