I don't know why more people don't breed rabbits
You know as well as I do what's their constant rage
Two Rabbits and next thing that you know then is
Not long and you will eventually need another cage
Nothing beats them young rabbits in a stew or casserole
Baked in an oven hot and cooked with some potatoes too
One can fill up a freezer with rabbits in no time at all
Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit will not let you down it's so true
As well with all the skins you can dry and or then tan
Making mats and handbags and lots of things as well
Then your husband will think he is very clever because
He made all these things and how they look so swell
But in times of when you need extra in the freezer
Rabbit meat was and still is the nicest meat to cook
And if anybody asks what it may well be on the plate
You can say oh it's just another real nice and tender chook.
