WINE AND GATES

living for steel that made stale hideous

dim hamburger
thinking the bun a must
mustard for a little more relish, by the verve
of dreams that came to hush

where is a mouth when you need one?
like a french fry in love with dragons
the catsup goes down like burried treasure
found in the ankle of the earth, thinking and warring

liberty for a quiet tummy
the shape nof things to come
the coke and the ice are yummy
your smile is long and well, dumb

lights in the sky
too quick to live longer than eyes of justice
the ages of nerves and the now of deny
this shine of wait, is our suggested spice

heaven is a walk away
the role of certain beasts and the residue of life
had like a miracle that went up in flames
here is the golden suicide of an honour and strife
