White Swan
The water sways beautifully amidst the waif-like willow trees,
That fall into the misty lake.
The pure white swan, effortlessly moves across the water,
As the opal moon lights up the placid lake,
With its light sweeping across the waters top.
Shades of lilac and subtle blues, with hints of grey and touches of navy,
Paint the expanse.
There is no one around except the white swan,
Who sweeps softly across the riverbank.
Calm and content, it creates no sound, but continues to glide above the lake,
Under the velvet midnight sky.
