December poem reposted. Originally published Dec. 8, 2008.
My December Love
Whispers sing in a darkened space
Inside our home by the fireplace
Staying warm within winter’s scene
Embracing souls and sharing dreams
We’ve no care of winds that blow
Nor of this season’s heavy snow
For we’re content in the making of
Every reason for December love
We ride to the rhythm of twinkling lights
Enjoying all our Christmas delights
Shadows dance in beholding eyes
Composing time with synchronous sighs
My ‘soul-mate’ plays his loving tune
While wrapping presents for giving soon
He’s ‘my saint’ sent from heaven above
He’s my Christmas wish ~ ‘My December Love’
