Oh my
I'm in such a hurry
I crawl most everywhere.
Even on the flat land
It looks to me like stairs.
Lost within the ever
Wearing the chains of time.
All me good intentions
Are seeping from my mind.
Nightmares dancing lightly
Across my fractured scene.
Can't bring it into focus
What does all it means?
Laughter is the mountains
That holds me in this fold.
Causing me to freeze up
As I'm quickly growing old.
Then I hit the rewind
Erasing all I have to be.
Changing all the outcomes
Changing all you see.
I won't let the dark mist
Cloud my sunny day.
Stand and shaking it off
I turn and walk away.
