A fallen try

I am a stupid man
Whose head is made of sand.
Trying to show you a love
That I don't understand.

I've always had a problem
To say just what I feel.
I want you to know about
A love that's very real.

But every time I show it
I fall right on my face.
For the fear that's in my mind
Is my sad disgrace.

I am terrified of dying
Never seeing you again.
When I just want you to know
You're truly my best friend.

I have failed to show it
It's blowing out my mind.
That I might stop the love you give
A love that is so fine.

Never had a true love
To show just how they feel.
One not made of sex and stuff
But one that is so real.

I just want to engulf you
Filling up my heart.
One I can hold on to
You see I'm not so smart.

Because it's my desire
To show you a love today.
I am hoping that you
Don't push me away.

So I stand here naked
To show you what I mean.
The love I have for you
Is an answer to my dream.

I pray this will not end
This love I have for you.
It goes beyond forever
I hope you see that's true.

Can't find a solution
To what I want to say.
My fallen tries lie bleeding
As I slowly fade away.
