just to name a few..
well,the ocean coast
has seen quite the many
washups..and Nazi Germany
Volkswagen the People's Car
The Autobaun and so
the children must be
blonde and racially pure..
it's been like 5 generations
since a Weber has set foot
on der Fatherland..
and when Dad landed
in downtown Munich
there wasn't played
much um pa pa music
not much of a homecoming
either..for Dad was a
POW for 9 months
and running..the pilot
was shot dead on site..
the crew was detained
questioned and kept
in the dark..
what happened in interrogation
is just something
that wasn't talked about
American and British
airman mostly Sergants
and the lot..
eventually Barth was
liberated by the Russian army..
POW's were treated
to mighty thick steaks
courtesy of the local
peasantry cow farmers and such..
even a dance troupe
of russian women..
thanks to the Kremlin..
Dad even got a medal
from a Russian Colonel
for helping track down
some war criminals..
here's to you Dad
I honor your sacrifices
most noble and true..
I'm your son..
and I'll always love you..
