In the wake of oz
To her lovelies,
For shame
cowardly lion
as a child I pitied you
The neutered male
cruel injustice
Tyrannical to women
I have the marks
You would be the example
of men to come and go
in this life of mine.
Courage
a word I let stand alone
A man without
has no place with me
Tin man had heart
he was my favorite~
The wicked witch
she would be the first woman
in this short personal chapter
I guess you want me to thank you?
I have forgiven you...
They say you pick your family
before you become a living soul
and I wonder why we do such harm
To reach this place
of pain and pleasure
I've endured far too much
riddled with everlasting memories
The images will not go away
nor will these monsters
I've been running away
my entire existence
trying to believe in something
Anything
But to no avail-
The wizard approached me once
and gave me potions
these would give me happiness
Depression met me there after
and the aftermath was not pretty
I've been barefoot
as I walked thru glass
from the wake of tragedy
I've burned my feet
as I walked atop fire
inside the home you built
I am afraid
I am courageous
I am scarred
I am beautiful
I give you my legacy
If not for these fluid chains
that keep my well being
…all would be for not
