New Year Resolution
Everyone makes a resolution,
A new year resolution,
I decided to make a resolution ,
for the new year too.
I made a resolution,
to loose weight.
I decided to go to Gym,
I decided not to eat any chocolates,
I decided not to eat any meat,
I changed into a vegetarian,
I started eating a lot of leafy veg,
I ate a lot of greens,
I checked my weight,
It is the same as before.
I increase my exercises time,
I increased my walking time,
I stuck to the diet regime,
I checked my weight again,
It is the same as previous week.
I went to the doctor,
I went to the nurse,
I went to the pharmacist,
I went to the dietitian,
for advice and guidance.
I followed their advice
Two weeks passed,
I checked my weight again
It is still the same.
By then it was the month of March,
I forgot about the new year resolution,
I started eating everything,
I checked my weight ,
it is the same as before.
I decide to eat everything ,
and enjoy my life fully,
Because life is so short,
I do not know whether
I live tomorrow or not.
Let me live today,enjoying my life.
I do not have a new year resolution,
for this year. Everyone has a resolution,
For the new year and I sit and smile.
Let me keep my smile is my new year
resolution for this year.
If my smile makes a person happy,
and I get it returned, then
my life is worth living in this world.
There is no need to make a resolution ,
which never gives you any return.
