The Darker Side of Poetry
Religions of Misery
Organised religions, so which one is true?
Are they a man made manipulation for power and false truths?
Are they a money making conspiracy creating an uncomfortable society?
This remains a mystery to me
Hatred and wars are caused
Through extremist sects of so called peaceful religions
Or maybe there's something more of which I need to see
Don't get me wrong religion brings comfort and hope and love and light
But how can you live true to the scriptures
Without some form of hypocrisy
Just to be forgiven through prayer and your sins you repent
Surely positive actions speak louder than simple words
My personal believe is be open to possibilities we create in our mind
A personal thought process
As long as you treat others with kindness, dignity, respect and loyalty.
