Bhagavad Gita &Me
The tragedy in my life
Left me with an invisible scar
At times, I felt like weeping,
And other times,I felt like smiling,
It all depends on good and bad events
And its allied memories.
I felt lonely and disillusioned
I felt gloomy and dejected,
I started to read the Bhgavad Gita
To maintain a relationship with God
Soon, I become spiritual in my daily life.
By connecting to eternal supreme
I realized I am a soul not the body,
I remain self sovereign in solitude,
It gave me strength to cope,and
I became the master of myself and
Gita helped me to lead a happy life.
Whenever, the frustration strikes me
I go back to Bhagavad Gita,
And I find solace in Bhagavad-Gita
because it teaches me righteousness
And it made me a better person.
