Love or Death
Her heart doesn't beat in harmony
It skips with jagged memories
Scars reopen and out pours blood
Another wave of her abused love
Crimson eyes and bloody dice
Watch her gamble her own life
Maybe she can get a seven
Death is only half way to Heaven
Stumble among the forgotten ledge
One more step than over the edge
Into the dark water so you can drown
Out all of their lies from around
One last tear sheds and she falls
As one does with a victorious call
" I am free! Let me fly!"
... Of all the things I must ask why
You're afraid to love, but not to die?
