Self Worth
I write something or other in this site,
Because I enjoy writing it in my spare time,
People read and appreciate it mostly,
Sometimes, I get really bad comments
and even people are ready to fight with me,
I contemplated to be aware of my own worth.
I asked myself, Am i seeking approval from others,
To prove myself that my writings are good?
I realized, that the thought of proving my worth,
is one of the most undermining thoughts possible.
I do not have to prove my worth,for each soul,
including me ,is inherently valuable.
When i start experience and appreciate this way,
it creates a deep feeling of love and care that
permeates through all my relationships and interactions.
Let me practice this awareness ,it will awaken
a deep love for the self and others.
Now, I am aware of my own worth and I know
I do not have to prove to myself or anyone.

I write something most of the days because I enjoy writing in my spare time. As i am getting old and unable to go out in this weather I am bound to be at home alone most of the time. I spend my time writing or reading. I do not like to watch TV.I have written here about the comments I receive from my all poetry family. Whatever people say it will not have any negative impact on me because i know I am worthy of writing and receiving comments.If I am not worthy I will not be in this site. I like to thank all people gives me comments. It will always encourages me to write more. All of you are my friends and family. I am happy that I have found a wonderful family in this All Poetry site,some are my brothers,and sisters, friends,uncle, aunt etc the list goes on. Dolly
