 Hiding Place
Like child you sought and failed to find
A heart like yours, a heart like mine
Where all things good I placed in it
Where entry mine some won't admit

Distraught you run away this day
Fighting once more the only way
To ease your soul of many things
Troubles of past, present, today does bring

Burdens yours I'll gladly take
Upon myself of you I'll make
A new creation unlike you've known
For new seed in you was sown

Refuge sought this world won't bring
The need to fill a void that rings
Of all alone, of things condoned
If sought you'd find this peace I own

You need not be or feel this way
The path righteous today could play
A melody of me in you
A song all yours to see you through

So seek me first and leave behind
The last of you, thought last on line
Will know true love gently embraced
This space all seek, this secret space
This hiding place

Dedicated to the Ministry of The Hiding Place
