Poetic Verses
The Crime
This today and for year ago has be a worry over time
Have be causing some serious effect on many people's mind
Some say on the horizon it is presenting a very ominous sign
Such is how most population sees that state of that nemesis called crime
People may say that some of these have the police so mystified
But hats off to them their jobs have expanded and intensified
Increasing populations, improving technology whilst they still have antiquated infrastructure
All of these factors combined would make their jobs a horror
But we too as people in our actions have sent an invitation
Have been careless in the manner in which we secure our possessions
Sometimes leaving the lying around exposed and not type of safety
And cannot even name the day that it went missing to the police exactly
But to the law enforces they can see in their job some frustration
Because there can be time when they have someone incarceration
Then some learned and smart person who is a legal practitioner
Will find some way to have them back on the street within an hour
But it seem getting that new lease done not last too long
As that magenta field of crime seem to attract them very strong
And before long for the same thing or another they get arrested
Imparting the feeling of frustration, also that of doing that job like it is duplicated
It seems not that no level of punishment seems to be a deterrent
In that formal setting of the courtroom, they display that air of arrogance
Clearly demonstrating there that they have scant respect for any authority figure
This feeling of insecurity also hit the witnesses who do not feel too confident either
Yee crime is here and we have to look after one safety and that of each other
So let us get into that habit of being each other‘s protector and keeper
Therefore alert each other when there is that potential for a crime
Draw this to the other's attention reducing that potential each time.
