Hi God, well here I am again. Once more I've lost my way.
Every time I think I have found my way through this desert,
The mirages of my mind appear and draw me to them.
I get lost in their fantasy and forget who I am. Each one
A secret sin. Father, why must I be so weak? Why must
I stumble away from decency? I hide so people cannot see me,
but I know I can't hide from You.1 Deliver me Father with
new strength and new focus.
Praise to You Father; bless Your holy name. Your angels are
always There to catch me; they would not even let me bash my
toe.2 You will not run off or turn your back on me.3 I stand
in awe, speechless, with wonderment. How do You have time
for this speck of sand? You listen and give. I love You.
All my life I've looked for an escape from sin. I looked for
help here and there. I look for help everywhere. When I gave
up I found You, standing here smiling, arms wide open.
Never once have You turned away. Never once have You shaken
Your head. You have loved me and cared for me with agape love.
All that I ask for and all that I am You give so freely to me.
When I fall flat on my face, You are here to dry my tears and kiss
My wounds. Your forgiveness is everlasting.4 You Understand.
You have created me with purpose holding my name in Your hand.5
Now I know I've gone on with my gibberish. I hope You understand.
All that I am, was, and will be I have delivered up to You.
I delight in You Lord knowing You give me the desires of my heart.6
Take my sins for they are many. Let your will, not mine, be done.7
