His many Mercies
Praise the Father of our Lord,
Show unto Him He is adored;
Because God does know your true worth,
Willingly gives us a new birth.
For there is no controversy,
Our God has such great mercy;
Being born into a new life,
To resist the sin and the strife.
It has the confidence that lives,
With humbleness as God forgives;
Since Lord Jesus Christ has come back,
Giving exactly what we lack.
This new life cannot fade away,
As long as we trust and obey;
Power through faith for salvation,
Allowing a regeneration.
At this moment it is still sealed,
In the end it will be revealed;
For now though we still must struggle,
Through all the toils and trouble.
The aim of troubles is to test,
Seeing faith perseveres its best;
Because your faith as I am told,
Is holding more value than gold.
Although you might never have seen,
You know that Christ has always been;
And you love Him since you believe,
Gives you a new life to receive.
Obtain salvation is your goal,
Of your faith to fulfill your soul;
Then you know happiness and peace,
As your joys and praise will increase.
