Blind Date
There are some people who say that sometimes hesitate
Before buying into the idea when a friend want to set up a blind date
Some may be very thoughtful other s may want to take this occasion
To be mischievous, this may be fun to them, but embarrassment to another person.
Suppose you accept this invitation to meet the person for the first time
That air of mystery would be always playing games with your mind
But in the meantime there will be many a soliloquy some rehearsals
Hope that when the ice is broken, you will not fall into the freezing puddle
There will be times trying to paint that mental picture of the person
Hoping that some where you can find some form of connection
Because UN you being human some form of nervous tension would be there
Don't want it showing too much when those butterflies within appear
That excitement cause by such expectations will increase the heart beat
When the occasion has arrive for the two persons involve to meet
Now having exhausted all the material in trying to get that mental perception
Hence it's time for the introduction and for you to make that impression
Naturally that night there will be some hype about that first sight
But always you may put some pressure on yourself to do things right
As those hands outstretched to shake at that first introduction
Now the mind is working hard to line up the fitting conversation
Perhaps there may be that hint of approval in the way you are dressed
That being done, the night is long and there is certainly more to address
There will be that small talk but all the time treading around quite careful
Seeing to find some state in which both parties can be comfortable
Now those things are moving and there is some form of common ground
All that tension will be gone and some purpose can be found
So all is going will and there is that prospect of having a good night
Then you will understand that a date is blind if you lose that thinking sight.
