Ageless in mind she comes again
Upon the feel on soul she'd tend
A note of sorts upon a heart
Too young to understand upstart
She was nine, He was eight
A baby doll thought to be fate
His to have for a short while
First love, this pup though short compiled
At school from distance He'd become
Prince charming hers, her number one
More upon where fables birth
This fairy tale, treasure her worth
He'd rise early to catch the bus
At bus stop theirs, mission of must
A chance to sit next to the girl
That made toes each time to curl
An older woman, why not he'd think
For sure each time deeper she'd sink
In love with him if he just could
Bring himself to say he would
Clammed up he'd ride the distance to
Their school of choice then walk on through
The path to doors where separate came
To end day dream fill heart with pain
Butterflies would have their way
In belly his, on face displayed
Oblivious to classroom lesson
Upon matters on heart his pressing
Valentines just one more week
A chance to give her a small peek
Of Chocolate heart that melts like his

Then came the day to share feelings
A dizzy day with heart his reeling
