 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

Crossing mighty seas they came in hand hewn ships with sails unfurled, bravely
connecting worlds so vastly                             distant,  unfamiliar and far flung
removed from their own                                     families left behind with tears
seeing beyond fears                                                knowing far greater things
pushing limitation                                                      were there for the taking
far behind them                                                               building bridges into
suffering ills                                                                        better ways of life
pioneering                                                                             dreaming better
owning it                                                                                 for themselves
living it                                                                                        in America
