Beloved
Today the day where some exchange
A card, a gift, a kiss as I arrange
Their day where love becomes a time to share
This sentiment that my heart bares
Without chocolate or roses red
My love for them was drawn and bled
By crimson mine as has been said
A Valentine unlike they've known
Or as some have or have not sown
This day, my day, given to show
How much they mean yet still don't know
My love is pure and never yields
To just the moment or breath one steals
For I am He who set in motion
The very act of such emotion
The warm embrace, the kiss on face
The shape of heart upon you traced
From mine to yours as is the case
Know this my child who I still chase
There is love beyond that one caress
As mine has proved to be no less
But more each day past this one day
Heed me and know for you I prayed
A new beginning to your end
A life where love forever spends
For it is I who made it so
When you arrive you too shall know
Beloved mine who needs to hear
What needs to be, the calm of fears
Will shower you if just asked
For me to come in me to bask
The hold of hand by mortal man
Will not compare as I command
All things to be if you would come
To know of me, my will be done
Tears won't streak upon your face
Hugs will pale to my embrace
For it is I who calls you mine
Beloved, till the end of time
Happy Valentines, I am yours, will you be mine?
