We Must Wait
We love each other but for now best friends
we must remain
It's drivin me insane
sometimes cuz I know just how special
our love is and just how great our relationship will be
We must wait and remain best friends
until we have both healed from the wreakages
of our pasts... Baby, I will stay right here and wait
as long as your still my best friend.
You tell me occaisionally that you love me but I'm your best friend
You tell me that you have nothing left to give when it comes to intimacy
I can hear the longing to be able to give intimacy.
I can hear that when you say you love me its not as your best friend
but as what you long for deep down
We must wait and remain best friends
until we have both healed from the wreakages
of our pasts.... Baby, I will stay right here and wait
as long as your still my best friend
I wanna tell you that I love you too when you say you love me
I know part of you wants to hear it, but It's not the right time
It would only make you feel worse... But Baby, know that I love you
It's not easy having to just be your best friend but its what we both need
