Parting
How often we hear persons affected by a broken relation
Seem so joyful even give thanks that there was a break in the union
Sometimes there is that exposing of things that occur, as they get so spiteful
And those expression in the meanwhile seem to be laced with vitriol
It is amazing that all through this time locked in love's vault
That there is that patience that ability to tolerate those faults
But now there is a break and things have sort of turn sour
How these little things seem to the ones that comes to the fore
Then they may try to for m a bond with other partners
But these sometimes do not last long, putting their lives in tatters
And it is no surprise that after all that talk and certainly rancor
They somehow find a way back into the arms of each other
Perhaps after all that time of cultivating that spite and hate
That maturity over time cause that anger to get a chance to abate
So in time come to realize that both have a great responsibility
In finding ways in which they can shape the relationship's destiny
Maybe there may have found in each a safety net that comfort zone
Something that their history may have unconsciously honed
So when anything is it a new relationship has run aground
It is back to that sanctuary of each other that they are abound
But on occasion people may part in terms that are friendly
As in some cases there may be a lost in those binds of chemistry
So when that fire is gone and there is perhaps that feeling of incompatibility
Then there is can be an agreement to part and go keeping ones dignity.
