 Rest In Peace
Dusk hid well in the swollen sky
Hundreds of hearts quietly died
Thousands of people slowly weep
As dozens more cannot find sleep

Rain pounds harder in the haunting air
Ghosts shiver at the touch no longer there
Hundreds in sorrow and drown in grief
Angered at the life-taking thief

Shadows dance in the setting sun
No more pain or being on the run
Millions of hearts lay under the ground
Endless bones buried far down

Death did not kill them
They were strangled by the hands of life
Now may they rest in peace
And enjoy their world without strife
